Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use the ScanMeridian website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, screen magnification, or voice control.

Our target standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We keep working toward that goal as we add and change pages.

Conformance status: we believe this site partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. Partially conforms means some parts may not yet fully meet the standard. We have not yet completed a full manual review.

How we test

  • On October 23, 2026 we tested every page with axe-core and Lighthouse, in light mode, dark mode, and with reduced motion turned on.
  • On October 23, 2026 we checked all pages and forms with a keyboard only, in Chromium.
  • Screen reader testing is planned before launch: NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. We have not completed these checks yet.

Known limitations

  • The scan animation on our home page is decorative. A text description tells screen reader users what it shows. The animation does not play when your device is set to reduce motion. When motion is on, you can replay it with the Replay scan button.
  • The example images in the scan demo and in the before and after comparison show low-contrast text on purpose, to illustrate a common problem. Each one has a text description.
  • Checkout is operated by Paddle, our payment provider, so we do not control its accessibility. If you have trouble paying, email us and we will help you complete your order.
  • Our snapshot form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated abuse. Most visitors see no challenge. If the check blocks you, email [email protected] with your website address and we will send your snapshot.

Report a barrier

If something on our site is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Your report helps us fix it for everyone. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing that.

We aim to reply within 2 business days. If you need information from our site in another way while we work on a fix, ask and we will help.
